Home Office, a new mode of organization ?

Telecommuting is defined as the practice of "a professional activity carried out at a distance (from a company), thanks to telecommunication tools. "

The health crisis has forced many companies to radically rethink the way they organize themselves. Telework has quickly become the new way of working. This sudden and unanticipated transition came as a surprise to both business leaders and employees.

According to several studies, this way of working increases productivity, reduces absenteeism, attracts the talents of new generations and in some cases saves the cost of many empty workstations.

For some employees, home office is a blessing because it saves transport time, allows them to be more MOTIVATED in their private environment, to feel less supervised and therefore less anxious.

For others, it is a source of intense stress due to the loss of social contacts and professional references.

Even if employers and employees seem reluctant to extend this practice to 100%, most of them are beginning to open up to the idea of developing an alternation between the office and the home...

Faced with this new way of working, Quartier Libre gives you some tips to better experience work at home :

- Invest in a comfortable chair that provides good back support,

- Dress comfortably in ample clothing,

- Regularly air out the interior of your apartment,

- Respect work schedules,

- Do not forget to take breaks,

- Avoid being distracted by sitting away from sources of distraction,

- Separate your professional life from your private life,

- Play sports to avoid the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle on physical fitness.

Good luck !
